How Does God Speak To Us?
God spoke directly to the prophets — long ago, at many times and in many ways. Why does it seem he does not speak that way to us now? The question matters, because the answer changes how we listen: where we go to hear God, and what we are listening for.
How Does God Speak To Us?
Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed the heir of all things, through whom also he created the world. (Hebrews 1:1-2 ESV)
You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me, yet you refuse to come to me that you may have life. (John 5:39-40 ESV)
